For some of the programs, a personal on-campus visit and interview with an admissions representative may be required before enrollment, whereas for some other programs, (especially online programs) an enrollment specialist will work with the students and guide them until they meet all enrollment requirement and begin classes with visiting the campus.
Applicants who are beyond the compulsory age of high school attendance (18) may be admitted provided they are high school graduates, have a high school equivalency diploma (GED) or a state issued certificate. Applicants who are under the compulsory age of school attendance may be admitted provided they are 16 years or older, are high school graduates or have high school equivalency and are 18 years or older by the time of their clinical experiences. For most of the programs, applicants will need to submit copies of previous educational transcripts or proof of high school graduation. All prospective students must complete financial arrangements or plan with the business office before they are eligible to start classes.
Academic work at Best American Healthcare University is measured in quarter units of credit. In general, four units of credit are giving for classes that meet four clock hours a week. Generally, one unit of academic credit is given for three clock hours of laboratory instruction.
