Welcome to Student Life. The goal of BAHU student life is to mix academic life and programs with fun by providing our student community a total and refreshing BAHU experience that will make a difference through the student’s contribution to social change and learning and service that lasts a life-time. We aim to provide extracurricular activities, training, leadership, and opportunities for involvement. Through the provision of these learning opportunities, our students will be empowered while their picture of life is broadened, thus widening the student relationships and understanding of life. The sum total of this experience is that the students’ social life– emotional, mental and physical life is better equipped to see the big picture that creativity, involvement through service, volunteerism, and community engagement opportunities that far exceed the class room experience adds to their life.
From student orientation to student class attendance through graduation, BAHU Student Life will be there for you. Whether it is to organize or attend that concert, go for special cultural events, picnics, excursions or volunteering to help in the neighborhood at the community level or university events, or to be a part-time student worker at the school, the Student Life is here to work with you. If you want to make a difference in the life of someone or a group, broaden your network, make new friends and build your leadership and communicational skills, you may want to associate yourself with the office of Student Life. In collaboration with BAHU Center for Student Success (BCSS), and the office of Spiritual Life, there are opportunities for students who want to be involved in international mission trips, volunteers and over sea experiences outside of the US to make their dreams come true. Student Life organizes and puts on a lot of cool events during the school year, including Homecoming, Welcome Week. At BAHU, we aim to introduce our student body to as many diverse ideas and beliefs as possible through music, food, entertainment, cultural diversity and activities that increase social awareness, both in the local and global community.
