Best American Healthcare university Inland Empire Home Health aide courses are held at the Riverside and Ontario campuses. Classes are available for those who are not nurse assistants as well as those who are already CNAs. Weekend, weekday and evening classes available.
Duties:
A Home Health Aide is an essential member of a healthcare team. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse,they may bathe, dress, feed, mobilize and transport people; obtain temperature, pulse and blood pressure measurements; and report observations and reactions. Other duties may include preparation of equipment, care of the patient’s room and record keeping. The home Health Aide functions as a home maker for the clients helping the client leave in the comfort of their own homes while they are rehabilitating.At the conclusion of the Home Health Aide program, the student sits for a completion exam at the school. If successful, student will receive their state certificate within few weeks from the California Department of Public health.

Program Description:
The Home Health Aide program consists of theory hours and hours of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility. The course is conducted during weekdays, Monday through Friday for one week for the 40 hour program and 3 weeks for the 120 hour program or Sundays – 10 Sundays, (2pm-6pm for 40 hour), (6am-8pm for 120 hour)
